Upload your PDF blueprint to the Rivo PDF Editor. Select the Annotation tool from the toolbar. You can use freehand drawing, highlight text, add sticky notes, place shape overlays (rectangles, circles, arrows), and add stamps like "Approved" or "Revision Needed." All annotations are saved as a separate layer, so your original document remains untouched.
Yes. The Rivo PDF Editor supports real-time collaboration. Invite team members via email, and everyone can annotate simultaneously. Each user's changes are color-coded and tracked with timestamps. You can also use threaded comments for discussions directly on the document.
The annotator works with standard PDF files, CAD-exported PDFs (from AutoCAD, Revit, etc.), and scanned PDFs. For scanned documents, our built-in OCR engine recognizes text so you can highlight and search within the document. We support files up to 500 MB.
Absolutely. All uploads are encrypted with 256-bit AES encryption in transit and at rest. Our infrastructure is SOC 2 Type II certified, and we are fully compliant with GDPR and CCPA. Files are stored in US-based data centers with automatic failover and redundancy.
